Densiformis are ideal for use in the landscape as hedges or foundation plants. They retain their green color year-round, providing excellent winter interest. In the spring, bright green and soft needles emerge, which then transition to a dark green for the remainder of the year. Densiformis Yews make perfect hedges in any landscape and can be trimmed and shaped according to your preferences. This plant is hardy and prefers well-drained soil.
