AESCULUS c. 'FT. McNAIR' RED HORSECHESTNUT

The Ft. McNair Red Horsechestnut is a medium-sized shade tree known for its dark green, palmate leaves and showy pink flower clusters in spring. Its foliage transitions from light green in spring to vibrant yellow in the fall. This dense deciduous tree has a smaller, rounder form compared to the European horsechestnut, setting it apart in landscapes with its coarse texture.
